So earlier today, me and my girl Kia ventured to University City Loop to do some candid photos of people that venture in the Loop. It was kind of cloudy at first and as we contemplated on how we would go about snapping photos, we sat and talked at the Bread Company. It was a scorcher as the sun appeared again. There weren't too many people in the Loop because it was hot and relatively early. So we grabbed a bite to eat and some Cold Stone Creamery ice cream to cool off. We saw people that looked cool to snap a photo of but either they were in a rush or looked unapproachable.
For those who venture in the Loop often, you may see a guy that most folks call "Crazy Mike". I ran into him and asked if I could take his photo. With no resistance we set forth to stage the quick shots. I snapped two photos and was immediately satisfied with my second photo of him. He told me he used to model and that he was appreciative of me taking his photo. So we said our goodbyes and parted ways. As soon as I snapped his pic, the rain came POURING down, monsoon style out of nowhere. I was only able to snap a few more photos before the rain put a damper on my hair and my mood. But I had fun and hope to do it again next week!
